We are looking for an experienced (min 3 yrs.) software engineer, with strong practical experience in building & testing software applied in control systems of mechanical devices.
Your key goals (jointly with the rest our Control Systems team) will be to:

Analyse data and performance of our machines in the field
Design, write and test new functional software to improve machine performance from scratch and/or improve / maintain existing software, or transform existing software to be applied on new larger machines
Implement software into the machines in the field and support field engineers with troubleshooting where needed
Help Seaqualize to structurally improve the way we develop software, by implementing best practices (reducing complexity, improve version control, test procedures, software robustness for next versions etc.)
The software will control parts of the hydraulic system (manifolds, valves, cylinders, PV’s, PTA’s etc.), electrical system (sensor, network, power, actuation, batteries, cable routing, cooling etc.) or software (all developed in-house, PLC and CU programming, controls, HMI’s, logging systems etc.). You don’t need to excel in all fields, there is plenty of work in all of them to focus on. A broad interest is a plus though.
